Rex, Part VIII is live!

Rex Part VIII is published and waiting for you! When I wrote part seven, I went way too long and realized I needed to separate the two parts. That meant part eight of Rex's adventure was already halfway complete. I was way ahead!

Yay!

But that means part nine is going to take a bit longer. I have my notes, I know where I want the story to go, but I don't have that very nice head start. Even so, I anticipate wrap-up late next week, and then editing, reviewing and publishing. Hopefully it will fall together quickly.

I'm enjoying Nev's character, and I hope you are too. She's a love interest for Rex but she's also nearly exactly like Dani and Sam with their dominant appetites. Our hero sees the obvious similarities but doesn't seem to mind while Nev remains his girlfriend. It's a dichotomy he struggles with. On one hand, he's torn, unsure of his new submissive role. Before Dani and Sam, Rex had a single, very narrow perspective of the world and his place in it. Like a lot of men, he's always been the alpha–and that's all he's ever known. On the other hand, he's starting to recognize that being submissive, giving away control, can be a very real, stimulating, and intoxicating feeling. Whereas the girls forced poor Rex into a submissive role, Nev is guiding him along, encouraging the experience. And he seems to like it!
